design types

Flash design — a pre-drawn piece of art by the tattoo artist, something they truly want to tattoo, and usually repeatable unless otherwise stated. In my collection, small and medium designs are repeatable excluding designs marked with but others can be purchased from selection. Large designs are only tattooed once.

Custom design — artwork drawn by the artist based on your request and original idea, which will only be tattooed for you.

from 80€ | max. 10 cm | 1h~

Not ready for anything big? Maybe you’re considering your first tattoo? Texts, symbols or your birth year — whatever it is, it can be made into a delicate piece of art that will still be eye catching, unless you decide to keep it a secret.

from 220€ | max. 19 cm | ~1,5h+

You’ve thought this through! With this range, the design can be more detailed and ambitious. Great for filling out space between tattoos or getting a stunning standalone piece without committing an entire limb to it.

from 500€ | over 20 cm | 3h+

This means business. Sometimes one large tattoo is all you need! Nothing speaks more of one’s character than being able to sit through a large scale tattoo.

If you’re looking to make a statement, this is it!

FAQs

  • - Quick math: service + creative work + design + tattooing + supplies + studio space + tax + VAT. = total

    - VAT. = value added tax is included in the starting price of the tattoo. VAT. is 25,5% in Finland.

    • If your tattoo costs 250€, the VAT. of 25,5% is 63,75€.

    • You don’t need to think about VAT. because it is already counted, but it is good to know what the value of the tattoo consists of.

    - Your tattoo’s price is composed of a multitude of things, some of which are: your artist’s experience, the size of your tattoo, the amount of detail, the value of the art drawn for you, the equipment used (machine, needle cartridges, ink, ink cups, wrapping etc.) and how long the project takes to complete.

    - It is also a customer service experience! From the first messaging encounter to your artist checking up on you after the appointment, your comfort and the quality of service are your artist’s priority. This also includes any complementary goods and the space we work in.

    - Your tattoo is a piece of permanent art on your skin, and worth the money you invest in it because in the end, it is an investment in yourself.

    - For each design, the minimum size and the corresponding price for it are displayed for your convenience. If you wish a certain tattoo made larger than the minimum dimensions, the price will change accordingly.

    - If you have a budget, book for a custom design within the size & price range that applies. Mention your budget in your booking inquiry message, and the design can be made to accommodate your needs. Please notice budgeting and altering flash designs to downgrade detail is not possible.

  • 🧴 From the moment you make the booking, or latest 2 weeks before the scheduled date, begin moisturising your skin daily.

🧼 2 days before the appointment, exfoliate the area that is getting tattooed. Body scrub, exfoliating glove or a mix of olive or coconut oil, honey and sugar works! This allows for the perfect conditions for your artist to work with.

🪒 There is no need to shave the area! Body hair is completely natural and there is no need to feel any way about it. This also limits the possibility of you cutting yourself while shaving. Your tattoo artist wants to know what’s going on with your skin before putting a needle in it.

💥 No caffeine on the day of and the day before your appointment.

🥂 No alcohol on the day of and the day before your appointment.

    💤 Get a good night’s sleep!

    💧 Drink plenty of water!

🍱 Eat well before your appointment.

🍡 If the session is long (larger tattoos) please bring some snacks with you!

🧸 Wear comfortable clothes, preferably black or neutral in colour. If needed, your artist will cover some parts of your clothing, but please bear in mind that wearing your best clothes might not be the way to go.

💊 Do not take Ibuprofen or Paracetamol before getting tattooed as they may affect the healing process.

❌ Do not use any numbing products as they will affect the tattooing and healing process.

  • 👟 You enter the studio and your artist welcomes you! You can leave your outwear and shoes by the entrance.

🍵 You may take a seat, read and fill out the customer form.

💬 Chatting with your artist, triple checking the design and any last minute changes.

🧼 Cleaning up! Your artist shaves the area and disinfects it, after which stencil stuff will be applied to make sure the stencil sticks!

🕯️ Applying the stencil. This will take as long and as many tries as it does until you are 110% confident and sure it looks perfect.

🧋 We let the stencil marinate, so you can chill and chat with your artist. This is a good time to drink something, use the restroom and prepare any pass time activity you may have brought with you such as a book, or a game if your hands aren’t needed.

🪡 May the tattooing session commence! Depending on your mood and overall preference, you can either take a nap, listen to your own music to tune out or chat with your artist among other things while getting tattooed. You are only required to remain as still as you’re able and inform your artist if you’re about to sneeze for example, or your limb has gone numb and you need to move. Otherwise get as comfortable as possible, and let your artist know once in a while how you’re feeling.

🫧 Cleaning up! Your artist will clean your brand new spirit mark. You only need to remain comfy.

🪞Time to check the new artwork on your temple wall! This is as exciting and maybe a little nerve-wrecking for you as it is for your artist.

📷 Photoshoot! Your new tattoo is your artist’s livelihood, so let’s make sure to get a great picture of it.

🧴 Final clean and wrap up to protect your tattoo for the next couple of days before we go over the aftercare instructions, which can be sent to your email if you wish ❤️

💸 Payment! Tipping is optional. If you wish to tip your artist, please mention this beforehand 🫰🏼

🧾 You receive a receipt of your investment.

    🫶🏼 Time to say farewell!

  • 🫧 Your tattoo is covered under second skin or cling film if you’ve reacted badly to the aforementioned for the first 2 days.

🚿 Remove the second skin in the shower or under clean running water in the sink by peeling it downward along the skin from the bottom corner. Do not rip the second skin up or away from your body.

🩸 Some ink or blood may have accumulated under the second skin during the two days. This is normal. However your skin around the tattoo should not be abnormally red or irritated. If it is, contact your artist and take allergy medication. It should be harmless and go away on its own but if not, visit your local health care centre.

💦 Wash your tattoo gently with water only. Do not rub it. In the shower you may use hypoallergenic soap to wash yourself but do not put it directly on the tattoo.

🧻 Pat your tattoo dry with paper towel.

🧴 If your artist provided you with a moisturiser, use it. If not, use hypoallergenic and unscented water based moisturiser such as Humektan from your local pharmacy. It is safe and suitable for most skin types. A thin layer is enough. Do not use Bepanthen or Vaseline etc. Your tattoo is basically an open wound and should be allowed to breathe to heal.

👏🏼 Always use properly washed clean hands to apply moisturiser. Do not unnecessarily touch your tattoo. It may begin to itch, but do not scratch it as it may harm the healing process.

🥂 No alcohol on the day of and the day after you appointment.

🛁 No sauna, bathing or swimming for 2 weeks after your appointment.

🏋🏼 No heavy exercise or sweating for 2 week after your appointment.

📷 After 4 weeks, take a picture and get in touch! Your artist wants to know how your tattoo has healed. If there are spots that you’ve noticed require fixing up, arrange a date to get your tattoo touched up with your artist.

🩹 Touch up is provided free of charge up to 6 months after the initial tattoo appointment if the aftercare instructions have been followed properly.

☀️ Whether you need a touch up or not, sun is your worst enemy. Always protect your artwork with SPF 50+ while in the sun. The better you take care of your tattoo, the longer it will last looking pristine. After the money, time and effort you invested, you’ll want it to look great for a long, long time.
